74911 Posted 25July, 2016 Report Share Posted 25July, 2016 Hi,I am having an issue with my break lights. It appears the break light switch may be faulty. Is there a VW or aftermarket switch that will fit a 74 911? As it stands atm I will need to order one from Germany and really don't want to wait that long. Any assistance and or advice would be greatly appreciated.
OZ930 Posted 25July, 2016 Report Share Posted 25July, 2016 I assume you are talking about the switch that screws into the master cylinder. If so, from what I understand, they are the same switch, whether VW or Porsche…..just the price is different.

Price difference is about $120WOW, I wasn't expecting that much difference. Bought mine, in 2013, through Autohaus Hamilton and even then were around $25 each, VW being around $12.Might be worth doing a stop light switch conversion. If you check Pelican, there are a few way of doing this conversion.
