Kerry Posted 16February, 2012 Report Share Posted 16February, 2012 Interesting Doug. After a little further research I've been able to confirm that both manufacturers also build cars that can do this... Kerry
JustJames Posted 17February, 2012 Report Share Posted 17February, 2012 Ref 2nd vid above: Funny, I don't recall Mark Webber driving a Porsche at Le Mans. Clearly being a race driver was second choice for him. He really wanted to be a pilot. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ISkaxE7NX1w
Airhead Posted 21February, 2012 Report Share Posted 21February, 2012 That's one way to get frequent flier points I suppose.

JustJames Posted 21March, 2012 Report Share Posted 21March, 2012 That F1 crash of Webber's, what was he thinking!! he drove straight into the back of that other car, what a goose A simple case of mis-judgement, and very easy to do, I suppose. If you watch the clip very carefully, you can see that Webber clearly pulls the joystick back just a fraction too late to clear Kovalaivalaivalovalailen. D-banger Posted 21March, 2012 Author Report Share Posted 21March, 2012 Hmmmm All I see is Webber going to take him on the left, before realising that Kovalaivalaivalovalailen is drifting left, and by time Webber realises and takes evasive action to the right it's too late. Has the initial footage been slowed??? F1 is far too fast for us mortal beings...
