Lots of mistruths in what was being said, given this plus the fact he couldn't prove the car was actually his....plus no RTA history of the car available...I decided not to proceed with the sale and fortunately he didn't arc up about it. Thanks again to everyone who has chipped in with their thoughts and comments!
