Did not carry bikes but did carry steel trench mesh, timber, surfboards etc. not a lot of distance between the bars due to the short roof, however never had any problems even on highway driving. I have a few sets of feet and just use Square Bars to mount the suitcases or roofbox depending on the car.911 uses the gutter mount.R36 and family van use the roof rails.
