Audi RS2 Developed by Porsche.

Recommended Posts

Audi RS2 in the original RS Blue Pearl Effect and exclusive electric Recaro Black Nappa Leather with Blue Alcantara Trim. Genuine and original UK car first registered 15th February 1995, which has not been molested and properly cared for during its 78000 miles.

Full Audi Service History from new and a full documented history of care by a true enthusiast with no expense spared. The RS2 needs no introduction and this is one of 129 that survive to date from the original 182 UK RHD models.

This particular car (Porsche No. 013) was featured by Penny Mallory in the Discovery Classic Car program (DVD Supplied) and comes complete with every RS2 magazine article, press photographs and even the original brochure. A truly collectable vehicle which must be viewed to be appreciated. An excellent opportunity to own an important piece of Audi history and the start of the famous RS brand.

Personally imported when we immigrated to here in NSW. This Audi RS 2 is the only one to be legally registered with a compliance plate in NSW as I had to help our local RTA to create the model type on their database to get her registered.

Serious enthusiast enquiries only please and open to offers.

This is a truly amazing piece of machinery but I would imagine you are probably on the wrong forum, someone will think it's stolen and other irresponsible members will believe that you are only using this forum for your own financial gain!!!!!! Very disappointing if you ask me!!!!

this is a special Car and along with the Mercedes E500 from the 80's deserves to be acknowledged as having Porsches fingerprints all over it.......

Agreed. Definitely a special AUDI.

But don't know too many here would be interested in an AUDI wagon. IF I was after a wagon, I would definitely consider something tuned and a little quirky like this. Just thought he was posting in the wrong forum. Loved the article he mentions and according to it, has an original first series Ur-Quattro, which I am REALLY interested in.

Then again, anything tuned by Porsche becomes special. Even the E500 'Hammer'.

2.2 5 Cyl Turbo, AWD and 315Bhp

2.2 5 Cyl Turbo, AWD and 315Bhp.

The familiar 2.2-litre turbo five in the S2 produced 172kW. For RS2, Porsche utilised a larger KKK turbo, intercooler, injectors and exhaust system and retuned the ECU to liberate 235kW/410Nm -- figures very close to today’s TT RS. The S2’s six-speed gearbox was strengthened to suit while power was delivered through a Torsen centre differential which could give up to 75 per cent of drive to one axle when conditions demanded. There was also an electronic differential lock though it was disabled at speeds above 15mph (24km/h).
