Kerry Posted 24January, 2010 Report Share Posted 24January, 2010 Hey Jase3.2, Just a guess, but if you've tried the new parts suppliers, you could try aPorscheapart for secondhand. I've found them pretty good to deal with, and they do have odd older bits for our cars. Cheers, Kerry
Chris-p Posted 24January, 2010 Report Share Posted 24January, 2010 Also try some of the o/s suppliers. Design 911 in UK and Pelican parts in the US. I havent bought from the UK one but I have from pelican parts and they are great to deal with. The only thing is they will need a template I think as the mats they have are all for LHD. D-banger Posted 29January, 2010 Report Share Posted 29January, 2010 I can understand why you might not want to source os. If you are going to look locally, I did see an ad for Garry K Blackman, Specialist Motor Trimmer to the Sports Car Enthusuast. Ph 9428 0535 Richmond. Maybe they can do something. frank964 Posted 2February, 2010 Report Share Posted 2February, 2010 Hi Jase I have seen Porsche floor mats for RHD on the porscheshop.co.uk site. They have a variety of colours. Check the interior decor section. Frank
Bahrain993 Posted 6March, 2010 Report Share Posted 6March, 2010 Hi, I had a similar problem with my 993. Spoke to a UK company called Southbound Trimmers (http://www.southboundtrimmers.com/) who gave me the interior colour code numbers to look for on the under bonnet sticker to confirm correct colour match. Not cheapest, but do it once and do it right was my view... Hope this helps.

cyberpunky Posted 22January, 2011 Report Share Posted 22January, 2011 I got some genuine ones from PCB at same price as above, and think you can't really go past genuine. The quality of the carpet and the fit is as you would expect. They also come with the clips that attach to seat(and the allen key to fit them), so they won't be slipping around under foot. Worth every cent IMO cheers Bruce
webrest Posted 23January, 2011 Report Share Posted 23January, 2011 Hi, Look at this mob in Sydney http://www.classicbritishgerman.com.au/default.asp You will be able to buy the carpet by the length and have a local trimmer fit them to the car [my preference] or you can probably just buy the floor mats from them. Give them a ring and discuss. They will probably even send you a snippet to check colour. The carpet that you want for your era is Sliverknit made in Germany. My very good friend Jim Lobb did mine, he is an excellent trimmer and does some of the high quality work in Melbourme. We became friends 25 or more years ago when I was the trimming representative for a national importing/supply company. You can also purchase cut length from "World Upholstery" http://www.worlduph.com in the US but for the smaller amount that you want you may as well just buy from the Sydney supplier at the higher Australian price. Drop me a PM if you need to know more. Dave
