Airhead Posted 26January, 2020 Report Share Posted 26January, 2020 Saw this post at lunch time. Fitting a rain light to the race car in the workshop this afternoon. Obvious thing to do really. Plug the TV into the computer. LeeM, Raven and Tips

Airhead Posted 27January, 2020 Report Share Posted 27January, 2020 Damn it. Chaz Mostert in the BMW beat Matt Campbell in the Porsche. 🙁
Raven Posted 27January, 2020 Author Report Share Posted 27January, 2020 Yep it was a battle of the pit stops all through the race BMW would lead then Pit Porsche would lead then pit ,,,the two manufacturers trade positions back and forth over the 24hr period with the occasional Corvette getting in the mix .. Not Certain what happened in the end as I was well and truly asleep at that time ,,,but ultimately the BMW got the victory .. On a positive good to see Mostert be part of the winning Team and contribute a number of perfect stints in the car ,,,thumbs up to him he did way better than Van Gisbergan in the Lexus and has been praised by his team mates for the drive ... Ryan Briscoe was also part of the Cadillac DPi Team that won out right ... https://www.foxsports.com.au/motorsport/motorsport-rolex-24-daytona-results-2020-bathurst-12-hour-2020-chaz-mostert/news-story/e882016e71c440fcf3dcc2ccb4893a44 Dayton over and ready for this weekends Bathurst 12 Hr ...........should an epic race Airhead
Stephen Tinker Posted 27January, 2020 Report Share Posted 27January, 2020 Are we likely to see the Bathurst 12 hr on free to air broadcast or is it tied up with Foxsport only?? Nothing showing on my TV future programme schedule as yet.
Raven Posted 28January, 2020 Author Report Share Posted 28January, 2020 From memory last year I watched it on a site streaming the race online ,,,,ironically it is easier to watch overseas events than ones in Australia ..I will endeavor to find a link for streaming by the end of the week .. We don't go out much at all mate, as we enjoy being at home with our dog and doing...not much! We have 2 set top boxes. One for the house and one for the mancave (utter mess cave at the moment), so if her ladyship wants to watch her weird movies where we both know she'll say "Why the hell did I watch that?", I'm outside watching motorsport or NFL or NRL. It's now $90/month for platinum membership (was $145 but I haggled with them) and worth every cent in my opinion. There are a LOT more ads on Fox nowadays, especially on the documentary channels and in between movies, but live motorsport is uninterrupted. Enjoy channel 7 😁😉👍

Stephen Tinker Posted 1February, 2020 Report Share Posted 1February, 2020 Looks like Channel 7 are broadcasting live from 0500hrs tomorrow morning...😀 I wonder how many hours of ads we likely to see - probably miss 20% of the racing - but what can you do...?? I was a little annoyed at the Fox coverage with ads creeping in now n then. Mainly during some delays in proceedings with crashes etc (of which there were a few!), yet it seems theres a lot of that happening on all channels now. Will be interesting to see if its uninterrupted coverage tomorrow
