Just an FYI

Pheasants wood located Marulan - a  little south of Sydney, a little north of Canberra , has a legit Learner driver training scheme for ages 12 and above.

I’ve booked my daughter in for the first post corona session in September.

Offers good value @ $150 for the day your car, $300 one of theirs . The programme then goes on to  interMediate and advanced training .

see here for info

I’m using the opportunity to scope out the track and come back for one of their track days in the roadster 😂

that said if there’s any interest for a PFA track day held there,  let me know and I’ll look to organise.

Drive day with the 14 yr old track diva ,  was a great event.

Run well, with good basics covered starting with change a wheel,  through to L platers going put on the road for an hour .

Covered wet track cornering braking . Fast deceleration braking , slalom, various parking

was great to see diva start a little nervous with the rest of the 12-17 year olds and within an hour jumping in out of a car with enthusiasm

day ended with hot laps in a variety of track cars

they are running intermediate and advanced days and accredited so L P platers get points for attendance

as a side note weekday track sessions $175 per person , if in an open group, or $4500 a day for private hire of the whole track .

So impressed @michel

I think the idea of you taking your child on a learner day experience like this is commendable. Training like this should be mandatory before any of Learners get to drive. Great effort being on the front foot to get her comfortable with these skills before driving on the road.
