Bondiscwb Posted 23June, 2021 Report Share Posted 23June, 2021 Hi all I need to replace the ball joints at the bottom of the front struts of my 1979 911SC and wondering/hoping someone has the special socket needed to unscrew the joint? Happy to buy or borrow (replace if damaged of course). I'm in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs (currently COVID Central 😁). Appreciate any assistance you can provide. Bondiscwb Posted 11October, 2021 Author Report Share Posted 11October, 2021 Ok. I've done the ball joints on both sides (plus a whole lot of other stuff while in there). Couldn't tighten it with the socket and a torque wrench even with the help of a car jack underneath so used the impact wrench on a low setting. Will be checking it regularly to make sure it doesn't loosen... Thanks heaps for the lend! Shall I send back to @OZ930 or to you as its owner, @Fishcop?
