OzJustin Posted 23February, 2023 Report Share Posted 23February, 2023 That was a really enjoyable watch. Amazing what they did with the restoration. German engineering mixed with Italian upholstering, and that Oak Green paint...Bellissimo!

brian in buddina Posted 5May, 2023 Report Share Posted 5May, 2023 The car they picked up was a 924. The car that got painted was a 944. Otherwise a very enjoyable watch. But something got lost in translation.
bear924 Posted 5May, 2023 Report Share Posted 5May, 2023 Was a good show, enjoyed how they dug into the technical aspects of the rebuild a little. It was also cool how they rebuilt the engine even though the 'sensible' thing would have been to put something modern in there. Felt it was a great example of modernising a classic, while still keep the soul of the car the same. When you look at the car at the beginning of the show it had 944 guards at the rear. During the body work part, they mentioned how the rear had been replaced .. I wonder if a PO cut the back off and put a 944 rear on and then they just ran with it.
