Rossnall Posted 14September, 2013 Report Share Posted 14September, 2013 Make sure the contract states "the PPI is to the satisfaction of the purchaser", not just "subject to PPI", and what will happen if not satisfactory. You'd be amazed at what some dealers will say. Having sold cars for a short time, technically, they only need to allow a PPI, wouldn't matter what comes up. It's been done like in the contract. I haven't heard of anyone holding a purchaser to this and I'm sure they probably wouldn't to avoid negative publicity, but I'm sure I was told by our guys all those years ago that they could hold someone to it if they were that way inclined.
