Harvs11 Posted 2December, 2013 Report Share Posted 2December, 2013 I just stopped by the new Burson store in Richmond to pick up a few things. Coincidentally it is in the old 9 Plus premises. They quoted $four hundred & plenty for the 1/2 inch drive W&B wrench. They couldn't come close to the $284 mentioned above.
_Tony Posted 2December, 2013 Author Report Share Posted 2December, 2013 Harvs, I called W&B directly to get an idea on prices. The guy, Philip told me to talk to Wayne at the burson in sunshine. I told him i spoke to Philip at W&B and quoted the prices. Maybe this made a difference to what he could do. Worth trying the same store. He probably would remember me as it was recent, so you could probably mention what price he did for me.

_Tony Posted 2December, 2013 Author Report Share Posted 2December, 2013 Good. The markup at some of these stores is ridiculous.
Uncle Posted 31January, 2014 Report Share Posted 31January, 2014 I mentioned to my wife I needed another torque wrench for a job I was doing. Then next day these two from W&B turned up. Big one is 1400mn "little" one is 600nm LOL. That should get me out of trouble

Uncle Posted 31January, 2014 Report Share Posted 31January, 2014 Don't you guys do your wheel nut's up that tight? You have to make sure all the flat faces are pointing towards the valve caps.
