Great to see the PFA gang pitching in to get the job done on Steve's 993 after a little bit of work on Theo's car earlier in the day.

But how many Porsche owners does it take to hold a timber strut up??

Thanks Dave for the hospitality, I'll go to bed dreaming of your garage.

Kevin.

Gloves? Get yo hands dirty!

Probably right but I make a habit of wearing them whenever I'm working on the car.

Don't know what you can catch. Especially working with those two!!!!!

Steve,

Did you go for a drive afterwards?

Did you notice much difference in the feel of the car?

I only drove it 1.5 k home as I still had to put the panels back on,so the gearbox wasn`t warmed up. but it felt pretty good. will test  and report

I thought the gloves were so as not to leave prints that were already in the system

Like everything in this world everything is a tradeoff, the shifting is definitely a little crisper and the car feels a little tighter. It is noticeable, but so is the increase in Noise ,Vibration and Harshness at light throttle openings, not tragic enough to take the inserts out but a bit annoying just the same
