Chris-p Posted 26February, 2014 Report Share Posted 26February, 2014 While I was looking at the ACCC recall website I noticed they have been targeting trolley jacks and testing them. Quite a number didn't pass the safety standards so thought I would attached the link for everyone to check to make sure theirs haven't been recalled. http://www.recalls.gov.au/content/index.phtml/itemId/952811

911oclock Posted 26February, 2014 Report Share Posted 26February, 2014 I have a supercheap auto jack on the recall list, how do I follow up on this?
Chris-p Posted 26February, 2014 Author Report Share Posted 26February, 2014 I would suggest you print off the recall notice from the list. if you click on the item in the recall list it will bring up a detailed description and take that along with your trolley jack to Supercheap auto. If you have any issue with them then I would contact the ACCC through the website. Hope that helps. C

myred911 Posted 27February, 2014 Report Share Posted 27February, 2014 I was in the local AutoPro shop buying a trinket for the Jeep. I spotted a recall notice on their wall for this very same problem. Good on them. Nothing like a jack collapsing on you to bring tears to the eyes. Note to self: Use jack stands!!
