Niko Posted 18April, 2014 Author Report Share Posted 18April, 2014 My hero back in the 70's was Jody Scheckter, I even named my daughter after him.. This is a quartzo model from my F1 collection.
Tit Posted 19April, 2014 Report Share Posted 19April, 2014 I worked with a (male) project manager named Jody...after the driver. Funny because he's not into Motorsport. My hero back in the 70's was Jody Scheckter, I even named my daughter after him.. This is a quartzo model from my F1 collection.

I bet she is pretty glad you were not a big Mario Andretti, Derek Bell or Helmut Marko fan. You could however have been a fan of Chris Amon, Andrea de adamich, Jackie Ickx or Niki Lauda and still gifted the name. I believe that Jody Schechter has recently brought one of the tyrell six wheelers. He has most of his f1 cars including wolf and championship Ferrari. He has had a pretty interesting post f1 career having created a massive defence business and now organic farming. Not my favourite driver but hugely interesting.
