Horn pad/puck/assembly thing

Man I'm having the shittiest day on this car!

I broke the horn 'bat wing' with very minimal pressure whilst refitting it to the wheel. Ugh!

A long shot, but if anyone has one I could borrow, buy or steal from them within a month or so, it would be appreciated. For a 66 912

It's only for rego inspection, then I'll fit the Nardi back on.

I'll try and have mine fixed in the meantime, yet I'd say its toast

Pm or give me a call please, cheers

Thanks Chris, got a Nardi (if thats what you meant)

Just rang a welder I got told about, he tells me he has fixed them before, so ill try that too

Found one in the UK, but he want $600. Yikes! He's always been a rip off with VW's though, so I shouldve expected it

Hi Lee,

I think they are more commonly known as porsche butterfly steering wheel horn buttons.

I thought I'd let you know for google search purposes.

Found this,

Thanks mate. I had seen that one.

I found a guy in the USA/Mexico that makes just the horn puck without the wings (correct for a 66. Thanks to Mr 912, aka Roni for the info!) and sells for $225 inc postage.
