turboT Posted 9March, 2015 Report Share Posted 9March, 2015 Also thought I wanted to do the momo steering wheel (Magnus Walker inspired). In the end I have kept the original but in my search never found a Porsche one.

andrew911 Posted 9March, 2015 Author Report Share Posted 9March, 2015 OK! It was not clear you actually had that wheel. What info do you need re recovering? Has it lost the original leather? yes, needs new leather looks like it is some sort of suede or alcantara, not sure have a prototipo installed now, but I think a "Porsche" logo wheel would be cool
spiller Posted 9March, 2015 Report Share Posted 9March, 2015 You want this guy re: material for recovering (the only official Alcantara distributor in Australia.) https://m.facebook.com/pages/Alcantara-Aus/856701587685856 The colour code you need is 9040 (black) to suit the cup wheel. Click the wix link on their facebook page and it takes you to a webpage with colours. I recently ordered some of the dark grey to retrim my wheel and shift boot to match GT3 RS. Don is very helpful and prompt with answering emails etc

Charged me next to nothing. All he does is steering wheels.
