G5032 Posted 26March, 2015 Report Share Posted 26March, 2015 911 for collectibility, CS for bang for buck Depends what u going to use it for
tazzieman Posted 26March, 2015 Report Share Posted 26March, 2015 968 wind up windows , no back seats , no airbag , racing seats These may be deal breakers when the "family concerns" are addressed. A 968 would wipe the 911 off the face on a wet twisty road, unless Waler Rorhl was in the 911.

DJM Posted 26March, 2015 Report Share Posted 26March, 2015 Always liked CS. I recall First seeing one mid 90s in Melbourne - crisp white with white backed race seats. Luverly. Your thread made me go looking on carsales and I was shocked to see the skinny market - 3 manuals of which only 1 CS. Until now there have always been a few CS on market. Cheap reliable porsche for base model golf money = tempting.
1st Posted 26March, 2015 Author Report Share Posted 26March, 2015 I've had 3 911's - still have one I bought 23 years ago- a 356C and I'm on my 2nd 968CS; my current one is a factory built 2+2, with icy cold air and fast glass so has 911 practicality too. As much fun to drive as, even a slightly purer steer than a 911. To drive one is to understand. Oh, there were 3 CS on Carsales this time last week......!
