70s, 80s 911/930 crash pad/dash advice.

So my windscreen is up for replacement on my 1976.

"While I'm in there" I've had thoughs of changing my cracked dash.

Has anybody got advise or stories to share on sourcing a new or recon crash pad. Traps, cost.....

Typically I start these jobs thinking "this should take a week or two" when I really know I should say months. Not because I don't have the time. Rather I'm very fussy about this kind of thing.

I will do all the work myself. So info on suppliers is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

I`ve looked into this extensively and tried to get in contact with Pro-Stitch a few times . When I did they mentioned they were not taking on anymore work for the year . Keeping this is mind SStrimming in Melbourne will be doing mine when the class is out . Good Luck

This guy is good. I've used him a couple of times. I've seen some exotic and rare cars in there

I've spoken to Dash Original. They wanted to sell me a fiberglass rip off. Not real "Original"

Ziggy at Dash original does a nice job but the grain is very HQ holden, and he is expensive.

Dash Doctor have two different grains I believe, and are cheaper, but I had one of their recover jobs "lift" after 12 months
