I've heard good things about Hartech on the grape vine. The owner (Adrian) owns a 944 Turbo to my knowledge. What work are you getting done Vinny? vinnytang Posted 13January, 2017 Report Share Posted 13January, 2017 Well my car has full service history, so I want to find a reputable specialist to continue servicing the car and make sure everything is stamped and in order. In addition to that, I'd love to increase the boost a little and find ways to increase the power a little bit without going crazy.

They're very informative and break down every core part and their limitations in boosting performance. I know Pauly has drafted a similar sticky thread on the Rennlist forum.http://www.jmgporsche.co.uk/index.php/menu-articles/articles-performance/item/178-tuningthe944turboparttwoHappy to chat via PM if you like so we don't derail the thread. :)
cyberpunky Posted 13January, 2017 Report Share Posted 13January, 2017 That is a slippery slope and well worth doing some research on before you decide a path, if you do.Is your car Aussie delivered or import ? Do you plan to keep it for ever or just enjoy it for a while ?Is it just an investment or did you buy it just for your own enjoyment ?

Don't worry about it Justin every thread on PFA has been hi-jacked in some way shape or form, why should this one be any different

I was told the car had already been tuned with a chip before I had it, but since I haven't driven another 944 Turbo I have no way of telling how much quicker mine is because of that and the exhaust mods.Im not trying to chase huge gains or do anything that can't be reversed. The car is immaculate and meticulously original aside from the konis and exhaust, but the boy racer in me will always want to tinker and improve, even if it's ever-so-slightly. Maybe I'll start with some M030-spec upgrades first to keep me busy...
