Bluboy007 Posted 10November, 2016 Report Share Posted 10November, 2016 I've just noticed that my front right tyre is getting much hotter than the others , over 30C vs 24. The brake caliber doesn't feel hot to the touch, if it where the brakes I would expected it to be much hotter. What about bearings etc? Anyone got any suggestions?I can see the temp increase via gobo blutooth pressure monitoring.
KBGr4 Posted 10November, 2016 Report Share Posted 10November, 2016 Lots of things can contribute to cause that outcome, tyre pressures (are they equal) wheel alignment (eg camber) what road are you driving on before the temperature was checked i.e high camber road or lots of one direction turns creating extra loading on the 30c side. Suggest a good wheel alignment and have the brakes and bearings checked at that time.

Bluboy007 Posted 11November, 2016 Author Report Share Posted 11November, 2016 Great that makes sense as I'd been in traffic and temp was just picking upcheers
LeeM Posted 11November, 2016 Report Share Posted 11November, 2016 I had to look at this thread to see how on earth you were measuring tyre temps! That has to be a first for me!
Rob Posted 11November, 2016 Report Share Posted 11November, 2016 I'd reckon those temps and relative difference are insignificant as they're so close to ambient as to make no difference. If you had one at 80deg and one at 60 deg it would be worth investigating.
