Coastr Posted 21June, 2017 Report Share Posted 21June, 2017 Would have been very different in 1976 Australia. They were one of the most expensive cars you could buy at the time.

Shady Speedway Posted 22June, 2017 Report Share Posted 22June, 2017 I've been quoted between $36,0000 and $39,000. You could have gone to Ford and bought 6 GT Falcons with the same money.Right now, the 6 Falcons would have been a better investment.

Current price for same thing today in Glen Waverley around 2 million. If only I could go back in time, but I probably would have still been stupid and bought the Turbo. Its in the blood I think. My dad was always buying new cars so I know what his advice would have been (buy the Porsche son why would you buy a house in Glen Waverley). I am glad my wife is the sensible one in the family
