Lost forever or brought back to life

Hi- I’m new on this forum, but I’ve had my 356sc for 40+ years. This happened at the bottom of Curtin, where I was living at the time. That’s the old RSL Bowling Club in the background.
Big thunderstorm at the top of the Woden Valley filled culverts, and flooded low level intersection of three major roads. Several cars washed off road  and seven people killed. As I understood it, the Porsche was repaired, but that’s as much as I heard of it. Don’t think it was a cabriolet- I don’t remember any cabs in Canberra then. More likely is that the piece on the left is the roof, cut away to rescue the driver, who wasn’t among those killed IIRC.
