What happened? He lost it on the straight. Did he have a wheel off when he braked? [edit: ] you guys are too quick

This is almost a how to get it wrong video. Even a novice like me spotted a few Things to avoid.

1. Thumbs in the rim when he was about to hit.

2. Short sleeves.

3. Stayed on the track side of the car after he got out. Get off the track-you never know what's coming and your car could ignite.

Belts didn't hold too well in side impact. At least he held his head to protect his neck. Lucky to walk out of that one.

His car dropped some coolant. Instant spin. If you investigate it further you can see the damage (or lack of it) from outside of the car. Amazing how sympathetic proper F1 barriers are. All tracks should have this stuff instead of concrete, Amco and tyres.

It's a GT3 thing... 

 

The engine spends it's whole life trying to get to the front of the car. The driver spends his whole life trying to keep it at the back. Occasionally the engine wins.
