Orion03 Posted 27February, 2014 Report Share Posted 27February, 2014 One for the "What the?" collection: An Adelaide man has been wounded after agreeing his friend could shoot him as a dare. The Brahma Lodge man arrived at hospital with a gunshot wound to his arm just after midnight on Thursday, police say. He told staff he had agreed his friend could shoot him as a dare. Police say the injuries are not considered life-threatening. 'Such reckless behaviour is ill-conceived and police won't hesitate to take action against this type of stupidity,' a spokesman said. The man's 19-year-old friend has been arrested for causing serious harm and firearm offences, after five guns were seized from his Brahma Lodge home. http://www.skynews.com.au/local/article.aspx?id=953916

tazzieman Posted 27February, 2014 Report Share Posted 27February, 2014 http://www.heraldsun.com.au/news/national/early-morning-pursuit-in-highlands-ends-in-a-hail-of-shotgun-fire/story-fnjj6013-1226837695378 "Incredibly, a photo of the brazen couple who were named last night as Cameron James Brasher, 25, and Tereza Anne Loone, 26, above, appeared on a Facebook page while the pursuit was happening." (...tongues were out...) "The startled couple drove off but struck road spikes on both right-hand wheels of the stolen 2012 Ford XR6 sedan. Det-Insp Flude said the fugitive vehicle travelled at speeds of up to 70km/h for nearly 25km despite the flat tyres, which shredded completely and left just mag wheels in contact with the road." Why not just shoot them from a helicopter???
