red clubbie Posted 4February, 2016 Report Share Posted 4February, 2016 Well I've sold the Subaru STI 22B and I have bought a 2012 Porsche Cayman. The 22B sold within two weeks of being up for sale at the Classic Throttle Shop.It has been sold and is going to Hong Kong.I wanted something to compliment my 1984 911 Carrera and I think the Cayman will be a great driving car.Picking it up from the ACT on the weekend....can't wait.Cheers,Geoff. red clubbie Posted 6February, 2016 Author Report Share Posted 6February, 2016 Well I made it home in one piece...The car ran faultlessly and in 6th gear it has plenty of torque. I easily pulled to 140 kph, opps, maybe I shouldn't have said that.the car was optioned from new with leather adaptive sports seats, 19" 997.2 Carrera S wheels, sports twin tailpipes and deletemodel designation on rear end, i.e., no Cayman badge.I'm tending to leave the badge off to retain originality.....thoughts??A couple of quick pics when I got home. Cheers,Geoff.

red clubbie Posted 8February, 2016 Author Report Share Posted 8February, 2016 Great looking Car. Re the badge.....I'd leave it off. Or buy a gt4 badge I think I will leave the badge off.....I was also thinking about adding Porsche script in black on the lower doors, but I may change my thoughts on that too and leave it stock. Cheers,Geoff.
