Mike737 Posted 28February, 2016 Report Share Posted 28February, 2016 Now depends on if you want subtle shine or matte. This is what I use for my car for subtle shine and was recommended to me by a number of concours winners.http://www.meguiars.com/m-en/product/1688/supreme-shine-protectantWorks a treat and protects the rubber and plastic from uv.For some matte cleaning action on rubber, use the 3M magic eraser, cut into strips and use on rubber very lightly - do not use on plastic. Use any all purpose cleaner with it carefully avoiding any paint work. Coat then with any product suited for plastic which has uv properties. andrew911 Posted 3March, 2016 Report Share Posted 3March, 2016 I use Meguiars Hyperdressing. Works really well.does it get very shiny or does it dry flat ?
Diggin Posted 3March, 2016 Report Share Posted 3March, 2016 From memory, the glossiness is related to the dilution ratio. The more you dilute the flatter the finish. I think mines about 4:1 and its not too flat and not too glossy.
Pork Chops Posted 25October, 2016 Report Share Posted 25October, 2016 Guys, thinking of tarting up my external plastics on the SC. So bellows etc. Are the above discussed products suitable? Looking for them to look new and original which means getting the sheen level right where possible.Cheers.

Pork Chops Posted 28October, 2016 Report Share Posted 28October, 2016 Well now I've answered my own question as I've now used it. Before and after on a test panel under the bonnet. Left clearly done and right untouched. It was a rough and ready job with none of the care you would normally take. Dead easy. No issues with it getting on hands or paint. No sheen. No gloss. Looks original. Says it last 'years'. Looks to be a good option from what I can see. Will do more over the weekend and post up.
