Francois Posted 24May, 2016 Report Share Posted 24May, 2016 Hi Guys,Where do you usually get your replacement parts? Are Suncoast and Pelican Parts good options? Are there any custom taxes to be expected ? Any idea on the time to deliver?I'm looking to probably preventively change the serpentine belt and pulleys. Thanks for your help guys.Cheers
Niko Posted 24May, 2016 Report Share Posted 24May, 2016 I,ve used Pelican, but not for a while, it is a bit of a pain opening an account with them from memory, maybe it's changed. But I have found them good to deal with. Freight is the killer, depending on what your buying. Delivery is normally quick.
P-Kay Posted 24May, 2016 Report Share Posted 24May, 2016 You'll be surprised how competitive your local P dealer will be.Once you have a price from them, you can always give James at AutoHaus Hamilton a call for a quote as well.Good luck!

Diggin Posted 25May, 2016 Report Share Posted 25May, 2016 I know our local PC gives you a discount on parts if you're a member of the local porsche club, so that might be worth investigating.

ANF Posted 25May, 2016 Report Share Posted 25May, 2016 I use FCPeuro in the states, great prices and freight, beats anybody else! Plus they will try and find any part for you. I have not found anyone locally as competitive on pricing, local dealer was the most expensive!
qstoria Posted 7July, 2016 Report Share Posted 7July, 2016 Pelican was great in 2011-2013 or so. So was the Aussie dollar though..James at Autohaus was also very competitive at this time now so give the dollar situation I'd be calling him first. Noted that you're in Melbourne so freight is a factor too.

911sies Posted 10July, 2016 Report Share Posted 10July, 2016 Is james the Caramello guy? He is. Nothing like getting those parts you've been waiting for, and then finding some scrumptious chocolate attached to them. Dopamine factor is high.
