Raven Posted 2October, 2016 Report Share Posted 2October, 2016 The wife and I decided to take a drive in the P car up to the Gosford Classic Car Museum today.. http://gosfordclassiccarmuseum.com.au/About an hours drive North of Sydney up the M1 ,located at the old Bunnings warehouse in West Gosford ...The museum features a great variety of makes and models from all periods ,,,,good selection of Porsche,s including the Carrera Gt and the iconic 959 ,,,,,,huge selection of Ferrari,s including F40 ,,F50 ,,Enzo and a La Ferrari ,,,,,equally as impressive was the range of Lamborghini,s many of which I had never seen up close before ...Other impressive machines such as legendary Australian and American muscle car are also part of the collection ,,a real must see if you like your cars .Please excuse the average photographic work and enjoy .........My 997 S parked out side Rockin 60,s style Hamburger and fry,s onsite dinner free upload
SimonN Posted 2October, 2016 Report Share Posted 2October, 2016 Another happy Bunnings customer. "Highest prices is just the beginning"Serious question. Were there any Porsches out in the back area with price tags on?
Raven Posted 2October, 2016 Author Report Share Posted 2October, 2016 Yes around a dozen or so P cars I think ,,,, 100% saw a 914 , cayenne ,Panamera ,early 924,s a really nice silver 997 carrera s and a pair of tip auto 996,s ,,,,,there were a pair of 80,s 3.0 sc that had been made up to look like latter models eg a 993 turbo replica and a 964 turbo replica also ,,,,,there were a couple others but cannot recall them ,,,,the prices were a little on the high side in my opinion ,,,but I would guess every price is up for negotiation ,,,,,,,The 997 ,s was in very clean condition Arctic silver over black ,,,just could,nt see if she was a manual or auto and the price was on a sales sheet on the dash and was to far away to read ,,,car was behind a do not cross rope ..........well worth a drive up there just to spend a few hours looking around

Raven Posted 2October, 2016 Author Report Share Posted 2October, 2016 Some of the cars I did find interesting and amusing at the same time were the soviet build cars from the cold war period ,,,,some of these things were just death traps one in particular the Tartra 603 with a rear mounted 2.5 liter air cooled V8 ............frankenstein on wheels
