randall Posted 28November, 2012 Report Share Posted 28November, 2012 Whale tail combined with 964 bumpers looks wrong.
randall Posted 28November, 2012 Report Share Posted 28November, 2012 If updated is your thing this one looks like much better value to me than the ACT car.
J.J. Posted 28November, 2012 Report Share Posted 28November, 2012 If updated is your thing this one looks like much better value to me than the ACT car. 993 turbo twists, 964 bumpers, stupid rear wing, even stupider steering wheel.. that car is so confused
T-Man Posted 29November, 2012 Report Share Posted 29November, 2012 And there is always this one!! http://www.carsales.com.au/dealer/details/porsche-911-1995-13743224?eapi=2&base=&vertical=Car&cr=0&find=993|CarAll&__N=1216%201246%201247+1252%201282%204294963765&num=15&silo=Stock&Range=Year:1994,1998&sort=LastUpdate

JD! Posted 29November, 2012 Report Share Posted 29November, 2012 That white one doesn't look bad, but the black on screams "i've been to hell and back, and I am in a very bad place" Everytime I have looked at the black one it feels like it's had a hard life. wasserkuhl Posted 29November, 2012 Report Share Posted 29November, 2012 Actually, the white one doesn't look bad at all................Would still prefer an all original one. and the black one.............The only word that should be in the sentence "Porsche Turbo Conversion" is "Ruf" Sometimes it makes me wonder how/why people do this stuff? Coastr Posted 29November, 2012 Report Share Posted 29November, 2012 The black one - I note no interior shots so can assume it is bad. Why do people do this? No idea. Why do people make are ferraris out of mr2s and fieros... I actually don't mind the whale tail white withn964 bumpers. When I see these frankenporsches I always wonder how much it would cost to put them right again. A clean looking 1978 sc with a 3.6 and g50 sounds like a nice drive to me. I know the impact bumper look is at its lowest ebb right now, and the long hoods are all the rage. Give them time, the 70s and 80s cars will come into their own soon enough. Jimmy Posted 29November, 2012 Report Share Posted 29November, 2012 I find it amazing how they can transform a 1979 car to look like a 1995 Turbo, I thought the bodies were completely different dimensions.
Uncle Posted 30November, 2012 Author Report Share Posted 30November, 2012 I would love to return my car to an impact bumper car and take off the RUF bars but can't bring myself to spend money on cosmetic things that don't make it a better car to drive. Uncle Posted 3December, 2012 Author Report Share Posted 3December, 2012 I've not had them off the car yet J.J. The centre infil pannel is but I think the the bumpers might be knockoffs. Always hard to pick with my car as it has got some very hard to come by parts on it.
