They used to be made just down the road from me many years ago. The guy who built them also actually owned a Porsche.

Wow - I remember the dragster as the coolest thing, but no lightweight - plus I couldn't afford one. I'm a bit concerned about the spelling of "Porshe" and the crow could only mean one origin. While  @3legs is vouching for the slightly tenuous link, I may still need a certificate of authenticity? 😁

Yeah my research says that a bloke name Richardson used to make them under the name Porshe at Regency Park in Adelaide but when Porsche complained about using a very similar name he changed it to Ricardo which was a play on his surname.

As a proud South Australian I have to call you out on the crow, it is in fact a Piping Shrike which is the symbol bird used on our flag, coat of arms and state badge.
