Harvs11 Posted 18April, 2013 Report Share Posted 18April, 2013 I paid $99 for my plates with 911 on them and I got a few letters as well. $50 sounds fair for half a plate.
ByronBayChris Posted 18April, 2013 Author Report Share Posted 18April, 2013 So it seems the general community has spoken......... I assume that the asking price would be $50-100k? It looks like Theo made a typo an dropped the 'k' off the end?

tazzieman Posted 19April, 2013 Report Share Posted 19April, 2013 Here's a 100k, think I'll take a nice 993 or restored longhood instead , thanks.
M308 Posted 19April, 2013 Report Share Posted 19April, 2013 Hi Guys, Thanks for the link Chris. Obviously, this is a plate that will command a huge premium over your average 3 digit Heritage Number Plate, as it is the 1st ever offered for sale..... Many people are interested in spending their excess cash on boats, art, jewellery etc.......my clients spend it on Heritage Number plates as well. Any questions, please feel free to ask Kind Regards, Scott Thomson.
D-banger Posted 19April, 2013 Report Share Posted 19April, 2013 Here's a 100k, think I'll take a nice 993 or restored longhood instead , thanks. $100k opens up a whole range of options....Mmmmm
ByronBayChris Posted 19April, 2013 Author Report Share Posted 19April, 2013 Yes, it is a lot compared with what I could buy and drive..... Like the 4s on carsales for $108k (even though that is too high) in fact all 993 are too high based on my purchase!
cyberpunky Posted 19April, 2013 Report Share Posted 19April, 2013 I doubt 100K would be enough. I had a look at what some of the 2 digit plates have changed hands for and think something this iconic would have be up there.
