vivid911 Posted 11July, 2013 Report Share Posted 11July, 2013 On my daily routine of a carsale.com.au check... found this beauty http://www.carsales.com.au/dealer/details/Porsche-930-1978/AGC-AD-14114223/?Cr=0 I know its been hacked from original, but I don't mind the colour! Shame about where the steering wheel is located!! Scott
wasserkuhl Posted 11July, 2013 Report Share Posted 11July, 2013 Interesting. Nothing wrong with LHD Cars, they are fantastic and you get used to them very easily. Well I did. This thing is a Mish mash of 934 esque body mods with a GT2 wing on its rump. Looks evil though.
MB911 Posted 11July, 2013 Report Share Posted 11July, 2013 I prefer this one, except for the steering wheel and pedals. If only.... http://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/Porsche-930-1983/SSE-AD-2086061/?Cr=0 It's even in bedroom wall poster red,........ Just $40k over my budget..... tazzieman Posted 12July, 2013 Report Share Posted 12July, 2013 that brugundy one with the 935 style spotlights in the bumper was for sale for 45k two years ago.. I'm trying to like it but the wheels are horrible seats are yuk and the vibe is just not right. The value in these early turbos is in originality. I wonder what else is to be discovered. Possibly some hard track history?
Uncle Posted 12July, 2013 Report Share Posted 12July, 2013 That 78 is very fixable.
tazzieman Posted 12July, 2013 Report Share Posted 12July, 2013 That 78 is very fixable. Big ol' Fuchs and tyres for a coupla grand? Or big new repro 20" Fuchs for the modern generation?
Coastr Posted 12July, 2013 Report Share Posted 12July, 2013 I don't know why you would pay that money for that abomination when decent original lhd 930's can be had for 35k in the USA.
Flatout Posted 22July, 2013 Report Share Posted 22July, 2013 yeah, love the 930's. probably my favourite model but the burgandy one doesn't look right to me. I love the slate grey ruf in Tas for sale as I'm a big fan of Ruf cars, but couldn't justify spending that much.
