D-banger Posted 17March, 2014 Report Share Posted 17March, 2014 Yep, I found pulling the mirrors back was worth a few kph in the top end, and dropping the exhaust maybe the same again, then the wipers off was another few kph. It all adds up. My first run was 174.8, then 182.9, then I tried using 5th and it dropped to 175.7, then 184.3, and the last run was 185 exactly. Congratulations. It's fun, but I think I just want to go fast this time. a stock SC isn't the best in a straight line shootout. SteamWolf Posted 31March, 2014 Author Report Share Posted 31March, 2014 Well, considering it's about 1200kg, has a cammed LS1 in it and hopefully some 10in rims on the back and was built from stuff bought from Woolworths, I'm hoping the doller per HP ratio is enough to keep me amused.
