Owgasm Posted 29August, 2014 Report Share Posted 29August, 2014 Saw this at SMT, love the wheels. Really wanting to order some Work wheels myself, but need to measure exactly what I need. Bloody NB TA widebody wheel dilemmas.
FlatSix Posted 29August, 2014 Author Report Share Posted 29August, 2014 Thanks Owgasm, if you order some Work wheels be prepared to wait about 12 weeks. Well worth the wait if you ask me though Measuring tape is your friend. Measure 3 times order once. What wheels do you have on at the moment? Their measurements would be a good starting point. clutch-monkey Posted 29August, 2014 Report Share Posted 29August, 2014 he's got inch thick spacers- starts to get muddled with widebody converted cars haha. offsets are gonna be close to 0 imo
Russ Posted 29August, 2014 Report Share Posted 29August, 2014 get rid of the spaces and order the wheels to fit from standard offset?

Russ Posted 29August, 2014 Report Share Posted 29August, 2014 Thursday I just meant get rid of the spacers and measure the wheels from there
Owgasm Posted 30August, 2014 Report Share Posted 30August, 2014 Thanks Owgasm, if you order some Work wheels be prepared to wait about 12 weeks. Well worth the wait if you ask me though Measuring tape is your friend. Measure 3 times order once. What wheels do you have on at the moment? Their measurements would be a good starting point. The wait is fine I will have to measure and then get someone to double/triple check for me. Just a scary process if I were to order incorrect sizes Oh and Russ, as soon as the spacers can go, they're GONE! DISH Are the front guards of a 964 and 993 any different in terms of width? Or was it only the rear that became widebody? Just want to know if your front wheel size will be the same for me as well. Unsure of what wheels they are exactly. clutch-monkey Posted 30August, 2014 Report Share Posted 30August, 2014 simon i reckon we just do as russ says, take off the spacers and fit whatever set of wheels that would fit without fouling suspension - we'd have six or so sets of wheels between us of known specs, something will work - and expand on it from there. same as i did for my fiskes? FlatSix Posted 30August, 2014 Author Report Share Posted 30August, 2014 They look like 3 piece Turbo Twist wheels. Might be Hartman brand.
FlatSix Posted 30August, 2014 Author Report Share Posted 30August, 2014 I think turbo front fenders are wider than nb, not 100% sure with 993 fenders. I did have to get my fronts rolled to stop some scrubbing.
BJM Posted 15September, 2014 Report Share Posted 15September, 2014 Did you get these direct from the USA web site or local? I've been trying to find out if they can make them in 16 or 17 but have not got a response yet.
FlatSix Posted 15September, 2014 Author Report Share Posted 15September, 2014 I bought my wheels through a distributor, who I thought was Melbourne based but turned out to be in NZ. They then placed the order to Work Wheels in Japan. As far as I know the Brombachers are only available in 18,19,20 inches.

BJM Posted 15September, 2014 Report Share Posted 15September, 2014 Yer. It looks like they only do them in 18 or above. They seem to be the only wheels they do in 5x130 as well. Doesn't much around in 16 's. They look great. They have that race look of the bbs.
