Dusty Posted 25March, 2015 Report Share Posted 25March, 2015 These cars are proof that you can indeed, polish a turd. Whether polishing makes an improvement, has also been answered!
tazzieman Posted 25March, 2015 Report Share Posted 25March, 2015 That 6 wheel ute is well known and is actually extremely well engineered.
Foyley Posted 25March, 2015 Report Share Posted 25March, 2015 This is a sad way for a 944 to end it life???? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CAVz7S2VOUg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8JbqFmAPHlQ
espskk Posted 27March, 2015 Report Share Posted 27March, 2015 928 dual axle ute.. Likely tax deductible expenses! Lack of tailgate makes loading a challenge I reckon it would be hard to unload to Unless of course you could find the right wood duck!! Just sayin. Danliveshere Posted 17July, 2015 Report Share Posted 17July, 2015 The purple Koenig copy I first saw about 15 years ago. The owner was from Hong Kong and moved to cairns and brought it with him as a personal import. Also brought in a Hong Kong "AMG" Merc. It's interesting that the 928 has survived

Ozvino Posted 18July, 2015 Report Share Posted 18July, 2015 Body work is rough - car would look ok in black but the work and money it would take to do that would be crazyThe Koenig and Gemballa 928s sure are an interesting time capsule of 80s excess......probably worth preserving one or two of them... stuartbrs Posted 13August, 2015 Report Share Posted 13August, 2015 The only body kits that worked on the 928 was the S4 update in 1987, and then the GTS flares in 1992. The only thing I would change on a 928, in a modern sense, would be flush glass.
MB911 Posted 14August, 2015 Report Share Posted 14August, 2015 Looks like a Koenig, lot better looking in black!I actually don't mind this, I'd have to get it for about $15K but supercharge it and you'd have a nice 928 hotrod. Maybe I'm a bit strange....
Ozvino Posted 15August, 2015 Report Share Posted 15August, 2015 I think they look cool in black - it would be a shame if none of these cars end up surviving
ANF Posted 19August, 2015 Author Report Share Posted 19August, 2015 Not so much a horror (ok the doors are over the top), but like the Koenig can look good
