Chris-p Posted 16July, 2015 Report Share Posted 16July, 2015 Thanks for the info, that's great and quite interesting. Gary will be interested too with his GTS coming along.the wait is driving me mad. I have to stop reading and watching YouTube clips. At least the weather has been so rotten I wouldn't have been driving it anyway

Chris-p Posted 29July, 2015 Report Share Posted 29July, 2015 Hi Gary,Any further update on your car? Week 31 has passed so has it passed through the body shop yet? I think PCM should be able to give you a screen print of where it sits in production and shipping?
RedMan Posted 29July, 2015 Author Report Share Posted 29July, 2015 No update yet Chris. I'm going into PCM on Tuesday so hopefully I will get some good news then!!!
Chris-p Posted 29July, 2015 Report Share Posted 29July, 2015 Will be hoping for you. Have to try and find out the name of the vessel it is on when it gets shipped so we can keep track of its journey. Oh by the way I read today that your model GTS will be the only one with a 6cyl NA engine. The next one will be turbo 4 cyl. Interesting and makes yours a rare car....... Scott930 Posted 5August, 2015 Report Share Posted 5August, 2015 Thanks ScottIf I was you, I would be checking 10 times per day I would be that excited it was on it's way!!Ps. you might need to "refind" the vessel for future checks, as that link I posted was just its last know position on the free service. The free service is pretty good and accurate when the vessel is close to land with the appropriate receivers/locaters, but for exact postion, speeds, heading, etc you would need pay up for a subscription (I wouldn't bother). Chris-p Posted 5August, 2015 Report Share Posted 5August, 2015 That's truly awesome news Gary. Gees I hope I get that sort of news I use that website to track shipments. Very good when close to land. I will start watching out for it. Very excited for you
Chris-p Posted 5August, 2015 Report Share Posted 5August, 2015 Looks like your car will have a visit to South Africa first. Vessel is headed for port Elizabeth South Africa before heading towards us.

black911 Posted 6August, 2015 Report Share Posted 6August, 2015 How are you coping without a Porsche of your own in the meantime? It's nice for your mates to let you drive their Porsches but just remember they will all be lined up to drive your GT4 to drive, some to the red line, once it's run in. Chris-p Posted 6August, 2015 Report Share Posted 6August, 2015 Yes pay back day will come I am sure anyway the weather has been so bad of recent times I wouldn't have been out driving if I still had the 993 in the garage.....
