996 OE Tyres

Just recently collected my 996 S2 and am very pleased, The front tyres are OE P-Zeros dated 27-03 and rears are 2010 I know they have a limited life.

What should I expect before pushing hard? The front wheels seem to activate ABS quite easily even on a dry surface.

I would appreciate any feedback.

You should expect a festival of understeer in the wet. Old Pzeros are noisy, hard and generally untrustworthy in my experience.

Brigdestone S02 or Michelin Pilot Sports are popular replacements depending on your price / performance preference.

I am also about to need some new shoes for my 996.

Any advice on where to buy/fit tyres? Bob Jane et al, or has anyone used an online retailer and had a shop fit them?

thx

Jax Spinning Wheels in Alexandria.  Good price and service

LoL, I think I love the wheels more than the car, (If at all possible)  After following the marque for over 40yrs I bought these for myself for xmas before I even bought the car. When they were released I knew I just had to have them.
