Canberra, while full of knobs, does have ideal weather.  Four seasons, not too humid. Perfect for riding, driving, hiking and being unemployed in the park after getting your voluntary redundancy...

And Kim can't quite reach there yet.

997.2 C4 3.6ltr manual, not an S but everyday great spec, no IMS.

I rember complains about a car having a lack of torque and that after I blinked it was gone replaced by and an identical looking S but after a good red I am not sure Ifi t this one or the 3.4 991.1?

Yes you are right, the 3.4 991.1 was a dog in the torque dept, but the 997.2 was a great car. You have a very good memory!

i think a no frills 997 carrera S would be pretty damn good as an all rounder. and probably the same price as something air cooled?

i agree, I've owned a SC, 996 and now 997s...its only my opinion, buy very easy to live with..
