I remember fitting a mesh grille to a gt3 because stones kept damaging the radiators. Not sure why no grille is a positive

Every 356 and 911 up until 1974 has grills on the front. I don't know of them being called anything else...

Actually one of the reasons I don't go for Cayennes and Macans is that their "grille" is ugly. 

Style doesn't go out of fashion,  but when you don't have style to start with...

Suggestion to the design boffs (how they ever have a full time job I dunno) ; whack the shield in the middle of the grille and you might win a few extra clients to the marque customers to the brand!

Exactly. You don't really need the exalted "air inlet" on a tractor! Particularly as the tractor is not water cooled.
