Kerry Posted 20October, 2012 Report Share Posted 20October, 2012 OK, Theo got me thinking this morning, and playing some tracks on the tube, and the thought came back to me, whats the best track to listen to whilst out there carvin' up the twisties? I'm not talking about driving Miss Daisy (inset anyone that restricts the driven juices), but when you're out there alone, and you need a soundtrack to accompany the vision? What rocks the boat? One of mine... or http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7958669iFu0 remembering we're talking about the music, not the vision, right?! LOL!!! So, whats yours?! Mike Posted 20October, 2012 Report Share Posted 20October, 2012 Here is one that is topical but not neccassarily a driving song. It does however have all the right sounds! Another for me is Jumping Jack flash
D-banger Posted 20October, 2012 Report Share Posted 20October, 2012 Nothing but the Zuffenhausen orchestra for me. But if I had to it would probably be something like this... http://youtu.be/8wKEzHXVPE4

I also agree with douglas - Flat Six Symphony is a great as well.....
Mike Posted 21October, 2012 Report Share Posted 21October, 2012 Mine is another vote for the Flat Sixes, my preference is the MFI Symphony. That stirring, scream from the engine bay of a high compression MFI is very hard to beat particularly with free flowing intake and exhausts! Absolute Bliss! JustJames Posted 21October, 2012 Report Share Posted 21October, 2012 [sleazy DJ voice] We're going to take it down a bit now...[/sleazy DJ voice] There are many versions out there, but Telegraph Road by Dire Straits/Mark Knopfler has to be a contender. Love the way the guitar solo builds and builds on itself. If you don't know the song, let this play while you get on with something else and see if you disagree. Harvs11 Posted 22October, 2012 Report Share Posted 22October, 2012 Anything with enough punch to get over the concerto out back will do. Vintage AC/DC usually does the trick.
