DavidW•GT3• Posted 28November, 2020 Report Share Posted 28November, 2020 Hello all Wondering if anyone has come up with a solution for increased lumbar support for their GT3 lightweight bucket seats? OMP, Sparco etc make some great inserts for their race seats, but I have been reluctant to buy a set in case they don't fit! Anyone got any tips, cheap or otherwise? Be great to hear back if so! donR Posted 2December, 2020 Report Share Posted 2December, 2020 I was told the other day that slipping your service books/manuals behind the cushion works. I'd imagine you could put almost anything behind there, just a matter of finding the right size. A visit to the foam shop could also be worth while. DavidW•GT3• Posted 11December, 2020 Author Report Share Posted 11December, 2020 In the interim I bought and cut to shape $10 worth of firm memory foam from Clarke rubber. Had a track day at Sandown last weekend and it felt great. Car is being wrapped in the new year and I reckon the P1 seats will be the go then!
