HEY AUDI!!! TAKE A GOOD LOOK AT YOUR P1 POSITION, BECAUSE FROM 2014 ONWARDS YOU'RE NOT GOING TO BE THERE!

(On behalf of every Porsche fan in the world)

Yep, go the Porsche.

I doubt Audi will even race in 2014 due to the whole VW group thing.

I would think the new Porsche will have a bit of Audi tech in the car for the same reason.  :)

More of a concern is the future of the 911 as a front runner.

Is it time to go with a mid engine car for the GT class ?

8h 32m to go.

Porsche still in 1st and 4th showing good speed and good on fuel and tyres.

The Astons are 2nd and 3rd and may be faster in a dog fight.

Great coverage on Euro Sport if you have Fox. :)

Not looking good guys.

6h 15m to go.

Porsche in 2nd, one lap down on the lead Aston and hanging on to 4th.

Plenty of time left but it is getting harder to to win without some kind of drama.

5h 6m to go.

The lead Aston is out after a bad crash. (driver ok)

Porsche back in the lead and 3rd with the other Aston close behind in 2nd.

Go you little beatle  :)

LMGTE Pro: No. 92, Porsche AG Team Manthey (Porsche 911 RSR)

In one of the more impressive showings of the event, it was the No. 92 Porsche AG Team Manthey team and its Porsche 911 RSR driven by Marc Lieb, Richard Lietz and Romain Dumas that finished 16th overall and won the LMGTE Pro category.

Team Porsche AG Team Manthey wasn’t through with its LMGTE Pro domination, though, as the No. 91 Porsche 911 RSR was able to finish 17th and on the same lap as its teammates.

The impressive six-cylinder car showed how truly dangerous it could be against a tough field.

LMGTE Am: No. 76, Imsa Performance Matmut (Porsche 911 GT3 RSR)

The Porsche domination was not limited to just the LMGTE Pro category, as the No. 76Imsa Performance Matmut Porsche 911 GT3 RSR raced its way to a 26th-place finish and the title of LMGTE Amateur champions.

Piloted by three of the better drivers in the classification—Raymond Narac, Christophe Bourret and Jean-Karl Vernay—the trio was able to take home the victory by just one lap over the always-tough AF Corse Ferrari team.

This victory acts as a consolation for last year’s second-place finish and proves that the Imsa Performance Matmut team is one of the best in motorsports.
