wasserkuhl Posted 28November, 2013 Report Share Posted 28November, 2013 Nice car and priced well (Subject to a PPI). Advertised as a Carrera, to provide some clarity, this car is a 4 Speed 911 'Standard' or, possibly a 911'S'. It has a CIS K-Jetronic injected 2.7 engine that , when new, pushed out approx 150Bhp.(If its an original engine etc...) a 1974/75 Carrera would be a Mechanical Injected 2.7, that pushed out 210Bhp and would be pitched at around $90-100k+ a 1976/1977 Carrera would be a 'Carrera 3.0' and had a CIS injected 3.0 pushing 200 Bhp (is actually faster than the earlier 2.7 Carrera's) These cars are in the price range of 45-70k dependant on their condition etc.... (Only 3500 built) I own one. The Carrera name was then put out of action in the 911 Model line until 1984, when the Carrera 3.2 was introduced. Still a nice started car that is depreciation proof and pure.

Even got the snorkel headlight washers. I think I've seen it previously, minus CIS.

9er Posted 18December, 2013 Report Share Posted 18December, 2013 Not sure what the asking price is for this, but, nice as it is, that rear tail is very wrong. Looks like perhaps a later model Carrera add on. There were a couple of variations of tail.... full rubber, and fibreglass over metal with the rubber lip, and also "no tail". Also I believe it should not have the side indicator repeaters?
OZ930 Posted 18December, 2013 Report Share Posted 18December, 2013 That tail is wrong... Probably why it only got 2nd in the concourse.
