turboT Posted 6February, 2015 Report Share Posted 6February, 2015 Came across this non original slantnose at the Super Car Room UK. Love it http://www.thesupercarrooms.co.uk/car-details/porsche-911-turbo-flatnose-for-sale-d
tazzieman Posted 6February, 2015 Report Share Posted 6February, 2015 Seems very cheap. Some days I could live with a slantnose , others not. The impact bumper makes the car look very nose heavy. Pale interiors get grubby when used!
jnr356 Posted 6February, 2015 Report Share Posted 6February, 2015 really weird to drive,it feels like there's no front on the car...add a bit of boost and it's like being strapped to the front of a jet

OBRUT Posted 7February, 2015 Report Share Posted 7February, 2015 I like them - it's a time and place thing. Ditto 911 speedsters. That particular car has been for sale for ages. You should check out the rinspeed that maltons have for sale.
turboT Posted 7February, 2015 Author Report Share Posted 7February, 2015 http://www.specialistcarsltd.co.uk/vehicle/porsche-911/rimspeed-porsche-911-turbo yeah, not sure. This looks more like a Thailand clone of a Testarossa with a Subaru engine. Slant-nose has some style
ByronBayChris Posted 7February, 2015 Report Share Posted 7February, 2015 I think I found the problem in the title Rimspeed Porsche 911 Turbo What more can I say.......
cyberpunky Posted 8February, 2015 Report Share Posted 8February, 2015 really weird to drive,it feels like there's no front on the car...add a bit of boost and it's like being strapped to the front of a jet I love the slantnose but have always wondered how the slantnose would impact on handling. Does it have more downforce ? Is CoD lower ? Personally I think I love them so much because it makes the 911 look more like a 935 which is one of my favourite designs from the Porsche family the Rinspeed just seems wrong, though those tail lights do look vaguely familiar
Corki944 Posted 8February, 2015 Report Share Posted 8February, 2015 FWIW, I am really keen on the slant nose models myself.... Not 100% sure why but truly love the shape and style and hope to one day get one myself..... And yes, nice tail lights heh cyberpunky....... Oh and by the way thats a "HOT"........ withers Posted 9February, 2015 Report Share Posted 9February, 2015 If Porsche made it with a slant nose = good If someone with no taste ruined a perfectly good 911 and put a slant nose on it - bleurgh hate it
