Selling Maxjax low ceiling 2 Post Hoist

Recommended Posts

Because I have made the decision to sell my 964 C2 there is no reason to hold onto the Maxjax hoist.

It retails in Australia for $3300 so I am looking for $2250. I will list it on Ebay or Gumtree in the next days but thought I would give the PFA members first option.

More information about the hoist can be found here

The hoist is located in Brisbane and can easily be moved in a box trailer/

9er was in first and I suggested he check the freight first. You are in Canberra and I would also suggest check the freight cost. It does not really need much packing as it is fairly robust unit but my price does not include freight or any requested packing.

It is a great unit for a domestic garage and I could not have done my engine rebuild with out it and other than the rebuild and a few tech days it's not had a lot of use.

One day it will be mine.

Oh yes. One day..

If Michel buys it then it's a bit like a swimming pool-the best one to have is the neighbors. Maybe do a deal with Michel on the freight cost?

At least i know where i'll be going for any underneath work if Chris buys it! Thanks in advance Chris ;)

I'd love it, but my shed is a joke, and not level, and I don't really need it etc etc

when you bring the joist, I will call Stavro to bring the scales

you want softwood or hardwood? I've still got some spotted gum that I had milled in Braidwood, left over from rebuilding the verandah. Furniture grade ;)

Ken, from memory, the lift has that steel pin that locks at the top. With your car on there, and that pin engaged, how high (approx) is the roof of the car from the floor?

You havent seen my garage, but Im almost certain its shorter than yours....

Mike have a look at the diagram above - I estimate that my car goes up to 2200mm from (floor to roof top)- the ram appears to go a little higher at 2261mm (7 foot 5 inches)
