Stew F Posted 10October, 2016 Author Report Share Posted 10October, 2016 So it is. I better let Phil know so he doesn't sit there all day waiting.
Shady Speedway Posted 10October, 2016 Report Share Posted 10October, 2016 I'll be polishing my bog for the black tie dinner. They are celebrating the 40th anniversary of the turbo and asked if my car could be part of it. I told them about the oil leaks. Didn't tell them that the 40th anniversary was last year. LeeM Posted 28October, 2016 Report Share Posted 28October, 2016 SA guys. What's the plan for a catch up prior to the show then? Macca's car park somewhere? Feel free to post your thoughts and availability here
Stew F Posted 28October, 2016 Author Report Share Posted 28October, 2016 Sounds like a plan. As long as I don't have to eat their food. Maccas at morphettville racecourse at 9.30 ish? I might even give the beast a polish.
LeeM Posted 28October, 2016 Report Share Posted 28October, 2016 I'm 3 minutes from there, so thats cool with me. Their food is crap, yet their coffee is pretty bloody good!
LeeM Posted 5November, 2016 Report Share Posted 5November, 2016 So is anyone keen to catch up somewhere prior to this show? Closer to the city preferred or? As you would know, parking at the bay is a struggle at the best of times, so maybe an arrival time of 9 or 10am would be best to avoid trying to find a parkMy number is 0407 942
DHE11 Posted 5November, 2016 Report Share Posted 5November, 2016 If parking is a concern and you plan on hanging around, looking at the cars and meeting for lunch - best option is take up the display offer and participate and that way you park you car on the grass for $10 all day..... LeeM Posted 5November, 2016 Report Share Posted 5November, 2016 Cool, I didnt know about the parking. Cheers
DHE11 Posted 5November, 2016 Report Share Posted 5November, 2016 Check the PCSA website for all the details...However as a guide, entry from 0830 near the roundabout and closing between 0930-0945 due traffic management and forecast numbers.Cost for display category, which includes reserve parking is $10.If your after a trophy and enter judging, it's $20If your planing on coming, recommend you register as your park will be reserved and displayed with similar cars, otherwise it's first come first serve and you could miss out once spaces are filled. Will be cheaper than $3/hour Glenelg meter rates and a possible ticket.D
