Saturday the 11th of May.

The run is to mount panarama for a leisurely 60kph lap of the mountain

But this will be preceded by some spirted driving past lake lyall along some 72.1 klm of twisty back roads. With a return run

so approx 150klm of fun stuff

Let me know if any are interested

Drive notes will follow

Meet for coffee at 9 am Olivers cafe

From Sydney return it’s a 6hour  run with a good stop for lunch included

saturday is a better day to cross the mountains

cheers Hughesy

Sounds like a great run Hughesy and Sat works well. Don’t know what I’ll be driving by then, but I’m a strong tentative at this stage

I think he was asking for interest from everyone but you ... maybe your  new 3 speed auto can make the run in 9.5 hours ... they can wave to you when they're on the way back .. :cool07:

Hi Hughesy, we haven't met as yet, I'm down south coast, however daughter lives in Turramurra....so I have slotted it into the diary, would love to be along and meet all.

I'm presuming partners are welcome?

Where is Olivers?

Cheers Dennis

Forgotten how funny you were Ronnie 😏 I note you were not putting your name down. Not sure if the 3 speed will happen now seller got all shy after my low ball offer and a couple of concerns I needed rectifying, but we will see. Family SUV should be up for it though 🤣

The start of the twisty bits.

Very good, in, tentative, as long as you don’t go too fast.

Edgy is leading the pack , so it will be quite sedate.  🤔

The last time I was following @edgy out near Bathurst he was also in a silver car with fried scrambled eggs... with a side of watercress salad 😉

I was thinking the same thing! @Hughesy, sounds good put me down. Not sure if it's a fried egg day though @edgy, Touring is feeling left out...

You can’t blame me for being gun shy to drive GT3 can you? 😂

They were free range, organic, shade grown, non GMO micro herbs...

Yeah, sure, edgy sedate, never seen that.

Really earning my village idiot title... I’m ok with that.

This is actually a cathartic run in honour of edgy.

We are putting demons to bed with the placing of a wreath at sodwalls

I’m a starter, just dependant on start time as to whether I’m all the way to Bathurst or peel off early. Have a family function early that evening so need to manage return time. Very keen to get the new car out on a run.
