Dalai Posted 11July, 2021 Report Share Posted 11July, 2021 All awesome, but the white Hakosuka is stunning! ❤️ 81SC
Sherpa Posted 11July, 2021 Report Share Posted 11July, 2021 That Calsonic R32 was my dream car in the nineties. Still the prettiest blue ever put on a race car. I owned an R33 in the early noughties - it was great car. But I still have that R32 GTR itch to scratch… Dalai
TwoHeadsTas Posted 12July, 2021 Author Report Share Posted 12July, 2021 This display is proving to be a great attraction for the museum, with quite a different demographic of visitors (mainly younger as you would expect) visiting specifically for the Skylines. A few grumbles from some older visitors, but there's only so many Jags and British stuff you can display and keep interest levels up 🙂 Congrats to our manager for having the foresight to vary the displays and perhaps go outside the box a little. We had an over-subscribed JDM car park display day a couple of months ago, so successful that it will become an annual feature, and we will look to probably have a JDM marque feature probably once a year or so. Interesting that one of our FB posts with the greatest ever penetration was of an FJ40 Troopie that had been stolen, stripped and burnt out, recovered and restored by the owner...... hugh Posted 13July, 2021 Report Share Posted 13July, 2021 In fairness, the display would be more realistic if they all had their bonnets up and 100 guys crawling around and under them covered in oil. TwoHeadsTas and LeeM 1
