Coastr Posted 16May, 2014 Report Share Posted 16May, 2014 The us impact bumper market has jumped a lot in the last twelve months. The long hood market seems to have gone crazy. I guess with the government printing banknotes like crazy, it makes sense to purchase something of real value. In some cases aus Porsches are actually good value in comparison. 76 C3.0 Posted 17May, 2014 Report Share Posted 17May, 2014 Seems like second hand 911 motors have doubled in price on eBay in the US in the past 12 months too.
Harvs11 Posted 17May, 2014 Report Share Posted 17May, 2014 Seems like second hand 911 motors have doubled in price on eBay in the US in the past 12 months too. I'd put that down to the hours ($$$) needed to rebuild. Usually better economics to swap a decent running motor. Demand for these will be pushing up the price. 76 C3.0 Posted 18May, 2014 Report Share Posted 18May, 2014 Anyone remember the Black longhood 911S sporto that sold in eBay a few months back. Was in much worse condition than this one but sold for around 65k US. I guess the fact that it was a sporto and black made it quite rare. Think this guy should drop his price by about 40k though.
